The MCSI Story
There is, of course, not just one MCSI story, but many.
Macquarie Christian Studies Institute started as a dream and a hope, originally shared by just a few visionaries. It became the dream, hope and the reality for many more - students, staff, teachers, board members, supporters, academics, university staff, workers, leaders, and directors - each of whom have their own MCSI story to tell. Some of these stories are here on these pages, a testament to the impact and ongoing influence of the work of MCSI over this past decade.

MCSI's story is one of people who love working together... Students
More than 1400 students of all ages and backgrounds have studied with MCSI. "I am convinced that places like MCSI can make a significant difference in our world, helping us .. to see and to strive for consistency between our "faith" and our "life". Faculty
MCSI drew upon the expertise of lecturers who were qualified both theologically and in their fields or professions. These men and women committed to exploring the implications of biblical teaching for the disciplines of the university. Staff & Directors
Three visionary directors led MCSI: Robert Banks, Gordon Preece & Greg Clarke. They worked with a staff team that did the day to day work of running the Institute.
