Bill Dumbrell


Dr Bill Dumbrell is recognised internationally as one of today's premiere biblical theologians and students each year speak of the privilege they have to hear the bible ‘brought to life' in his classes.

Bill completed his doctoral studies at Harvard University, and earned the Frederick Sheldon Travelling Fellowship from Harvard for study at Heidelberg, West Germany. He lectured for many years at Moore College, as well as the University at Sydney, and Regent College, where he was subsequently appointed Academic Dean and Professor of Biblical Studies.

Bill is the author of numerous books and articles including; Covenant and Creation (1984), The End of the Beginning (1985), The New Covenant (1999) and The Faith of Israel (2nd ed. 2002). He is currently at work on a theology of the Old Testament.
