Ian Packer

BA (Hons), M.Div, PhD Cand. (Dept Philosophy, Macquarie)
Ian works as Director of Public Theology for Australian Evangelical Alliance. He is a pastoral worker at Pennant Hills Baptist Church, and is a member of the Social Issues Committee for the Baptist Union of NSW and ACT.

Ian did his BA (Hons) in Politics, Philosophy and Sociology at Murdoch University and completed his M.Div through Ridley College (Parkville VIC) and Morling College (Eastwood NSW). He is currently engaged in postgraduate theological studies and is planning Ph.D research in a Christian philosophy of technology. Ian has lectured at Harvest West Bible College in Ethics, Ecclesiology and Social and Cultural Trends; and guest lectured at Ridley College, Morling College and Tabor College.


Ian lectures in the following subjects:

Worldview Survey: Christian & Philosophical Perspectives (IN301, MCSI 100)
Jesus: Person, Politics & Ethics of Jesus (IN416, MCSI 206/306)
