Fees for units are charged as either "for credit" or "not for credit". Units taken "for credit" can be credited towards a degree program. Units taken "not for credit" have lower fees (50% of for credit fees) because there is no assessment or exams. Students taking subjects on a "not for credit" basis participate in classes for personal interest but cannot credit units towards any degree programs.
Students enrolling in MCSI units can choose to pay upfront fees directly to MCSI, or to apply for FEE HELP.

A discount of 10% on fees is available for 3rd and subsequent MCSI units. This discount is only available to students paying up-front fees. There is no discount on fees for students taking FEE-HELP.
There are a number of payment options available including paying fees by instalments. If you have difficulty paying your fees, please contact our student advisor who will advise you on your options.
FEE-HELP is a Commonwealth government loan program that assists eligible students to pay their tuition fees at eligible public and private higher education providers. Australian citizens and holders of a permanent humanitarian visa are eligible for FEE-HELP.
The lifetime limit for borrowing under this program is currently $80,000 (indexed annually). A loan fee of 20 percent applies to FEE-HELP loans for undergraduate courses of study. This loan fee is applied at the time you incur the debt. Once your income reaches a certain threshold, you repay the debt through the taxation system. The income threshold for 2006-2007 was $38,148 per annum. The threshold rises as CPI increases. FEE-HELP loans are extinguished at death. See www.goingtouni.gov.au for details.
A number of scholarships, which cover the set fees for one MCSI unit taken for credit, are available for students who are enrolled in an Australian university degree program. These are not available to international students.
Students applying for an MCSI Scholarship must agree to complete at least one further MCSI unit at a later date and to contribute towards furthering the MCSI Mission in some way. Applications for scholarships must be received during January of the year for which the student is applying for the scholarship. To apply please contact our student advisor.
